‘Unforgettable summer stay’: Hollywood couple rent out California beach house

Entertainment

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are renting out their beach house in California to give lucky guests an “unforgettable summer stay”.

The Hollywood couple are listing their “Oceanfront Oasis” house in Santa Barbara on online rental website Airbnb, offering a one-night stay for up to four people.

The guests will be greeted by the couple upon arrival, with the chance to “capture some content together” and also have meals and snacks provided.

Posting a video on Instagram, Kutcher, 45, sat with Kunis, 40, outside their property saying he had a “dumb idea”.

In what seems like a complete surprise to Kunis, he added: “I think we should have complete strangers come and stay with us at the beach. It’s so nice here.”

The three-bed property – complete with hot tub, BBQ and decking area – was described as “steps from the beach” with views of the Santa Ynez mountains.

“You’ll find no shortage of sights and plenty of activities to make for an unforgettable summer stay,” the online advert read.

More on Airbnb

Bookings for the stay on 19 August open at 10am Pacific Time (6pm UK time) today.

Budding guests have to have an active Airbnb profile, agree to the company’s terms and conditions and privacy policy and have a good track-record on the platform.

They must also provide government-issued ID and give consent for the company to conduct a review of public records.

It is not clear whether the couple will stay on-site at the property with their guests throughout their stay.

Kutcher and Kunis, who have been married for eight years, are not the only famous faces to rent out their properties.

Gwyneth Paltrow, 50, gave a virtual tour of her guest house in Montecito, California, offering a “truly luxuriating stay”.

The actress said she was partnering with Airbnb to make the world “a little less lonely”, giving two people the opportunity to stay at the picturesque property and eat dinner with her and husband Brad Falchuk.
